Aniwatch at a glance
Aniwatch is an independent anime guide. We do not host or stream video. We publish researched series guides, episode lists, watch orders and practical viewing advice so you can decide what to watch next with confidence.
Why Aniwatch Exists
Anime is one of the most rewarding mediums to explore and one of the most confusing to start. Long-running franchises split into seasons, cours, films and specials; titles change between Japanese and English releases; and every fan forum has a different opinion about where to begin. Aniwatch was created to cut through that noise with one calm, organised place for the information viewers actually need.
Every series page on Aniwatch answers the same practical questions: what is the show about, who is it for, how many episodes are there, what order should you watch it in, and what should you try next. Our blog goes wider, explaining formats, genres, release seasons and the Sub vs Dub decision in plain language.
What We Publish
- Anime guides covering story, characters, themes, pacing and who will enjoy each series.
- Episode guides that list episodes in order with short, spoiler-light descriptions.
- Watch orders for franchises with sequels, films and side stories.
- Explainers on Sub vs Dub, anime formats such as TV, OVA and ONA, and the seasonal release calendar.
- Recommendations that connect shows by tone and theme, not just by genre label.
Meet the Editorial Team
Aniwatch articles are written and maintained by the Aniwatch Editorial Team, a small group of long-time anime viewers who care about accuracy and readability. We credit the team rather than individual pen names because every guide is reviewed, edited and updated collaboratively.
Before a guide is published we check episode counts, season structure and release information against official studio, publisher and broadcaster sources. When a new season is announced or released we revisit the relevant pages so the watch order and episode list stay current. You can read more about this process in our Editorial Policy.
Our Principles
- Accuracy first: no invented release dates, statistics or quotes.
- Spoiler awareness: guides explain premises without ruining major twists.
- Respect for creators: we encourage viewers to watch through official, licensed services.
- Independence: recommendations are editorial, not paid placements.
